I have many ways to get a cheap rate at a Hotel in Las Vegas. The following information is provided to show you all the tips I can think of to help you get to Las Vegas for cheap.
When I started in the travel industry people called all the time asking me to book these exciting destinations. Each time I booked I thought, man I would love to visit there. Well after visiting several of these places, though I still have many to go. I have found Las Vegas to be my prime destination. I had a great time in Las Vegas. The sites to see are amazing and the weather is always warm. I also secured an excellent deal on my hotel. I got a discount rate.
I would start by going right to the website of the hotel directly. Most hotels have a guest book or a mailing list that you can sign up for. Once you are on their list they will send you deals on rooms. The only problem with using this method to get a cheap hotel stay is that they will constantly send you email.
The best thing you can do is plan your trip during the week. Most of the large name hotels give away rooms during the week, but double the price or more on the weekends. I suggest that you go on a Tuesday and check out on Friday. You can always find the best deals on the rooms at this time. I also suggest you look at an Airline called Allegiant Air. If you are near an airport that they fly out of they can get you to Vegas for cheap.
The websites that offer cheap hotels or discount hotels are usually a good buy. They offer the same rooms that you get directly from the hotel. The sites use their buying power to lower the rates. They basically have a contract with the hotel to book a certain number of rooms per year and in exchange for that they get a deep discount. They then resell the rooms at a markup. The profit is made between the price they get it and the price they sell to you. The nice thing about these sites is you can easily find the lowest rates, and if you find a lower rate they will match it.
There are so many places to stay that I can’t even begin to say which is better. My preference is to stay center strip. I never recommend the Stratosphere simply because it is in very North Las Vegas and is far away from everything. It is cheap, however. I like to stay center strip and there are many hotels at good rates there. There is the Paris, The Flamingo and Bally’s. They are all decent hotels but have different price rates. The cheapest nice hotel I could recommend is the Flamingo. There is also Bill’s Gamblin Hall & Saloon which is in prime location, but has received some bad reviews. I am curious to see if it is really that bad, however, since it is a Harrah’s property.
The trip to Las Vegas is one that will surely be of excitement. I also always tell people it is not as pricy as you think. You can get to Las Vegas and stay for a relatively low price. The best advice I can give is to book a room right away. When you decide to go, book the room. Then what you do is shop around and see if you find lower prices. If you do then let your booking site or agent know so they can match it. The problem with shopping around without something booked is that as rooms fill up the price generally rises. This is the law of supply and demand. If you book a rate, however, it is locked in, then if it drops almost any agent will attempt to match that lower rate.
